Wheeler Aye <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the resolution duly <br />passed and adopted this 16 day of October 01 1990. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By e <br />Lar OT -R; Egg <br />Cha iinf(a n <br />Section 902.06 Role of Historic Resources Advisory Committee <br />in Planning and Development <br />The Historic Resources Advisory Committee shall act in an advisory <br />capacity to,the Board of County Commissioners to inform and advise <br />the Board on historical and archeological concerns. Formal <br />recommendations may be presented to the Board of County <br />Commissioners by the Historic Resources Advisory Committee. <br />(1) The historic Resources Advisory Committee shall recommend <br />formal identification or designation of significant historic <br />and/or archeological resources for application of the <br />regulations contained in this section and Chapter 933, <br />Historic and Archeological Resource Protection. <br />(2) The Historic Resources Advisory Committee shall recommend to <br />the Board of County Commissioners the nomination of historical <br />resources to the National Register of Historical Places and/or <br />other authorized surveys or registers, including local <br />registers. <br />(3) The Historic Resources Advisory Committee shall advise the <br />Board of County Commissioners on all matters related to <br />historic preservation policy, including the use, <br />administration. and maintenance of county -owned, historically <br />designated sites and structures. <br />(4) The Historic Resource Advisory Committee shall advise the <br />Board of County Commissioners on potential historic resource <br />acquisitions, and/or protection of privately -owned historical <br />resources. <br />(5) The Historic Resources Advisory Committee shall review and <br />make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners <br />concerning all proposed amendments to- land development <br />regulations, Comprehensive Plan policies or building codes as <br />they apply to historic resources. <br />OCT 16 1990 69 rapC(K 0 -1 P'11 � eii <br />
