BOOK 81 FALLl p <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-156 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, CREATING A PROFESSIONAL <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO REVIEW THE LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS (TITLE- IX) AND <br />THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN (TITLE VIII). <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statutes, the County has <br />adopted Land Development Regulations and a Comprehensive <br />Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, these regulations are voluminous and cover <br />many professional disciplines; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County has determined that it would be advisable to <br />create an advisory committee of persons working in the areas <br />covered by the regulations to make recommendations to the <br />Board of County Commissioners for improvements to the <br />regulations; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. ESTABLISHMENT <br />The Board of County Commissioners hereby establishes a <br />Professional Advisory Committee to serve In an advisory <br />capacity to the Board regarding rules, regulations, <br />policies, procedures, fees and ordinances pertaining <br />to the Land Development Regulations and Comprehensive <br />Plan. The Professional Advisory Committee is to work <br />with the Community Development Department to discuss <br />and resolve all concerns. <br />2. APPOINTMENT <br />All members shall be residents of or maintain <br />businesses in Indian River County, Florida. <br />Appointments shall be made based on the potential <br />members' integrity, ability and experience In their <br />related fields. <br />a.
