w <br />Tuesday, October 23, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />October 23, 1990, at.9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. <br />Eggert, Chairman; Margaret C. Bowman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr.; and <br />Gary C. Wheeler. Absent was Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman, who <br />was out of state on vacation. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, Attorney to <br />the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia Hargreaves, <br />Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Eggert called the meeting to order and led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested two emergency additions, both due <br />to a date deadline and the fact that we don't have a meeting on <br />October 30th. She wished to add either under her items or the <br />Consent Agenda appointments to the Alcohol, Drug Abuse & Mental <br />Health Planning Council and also the Treasure Coast University <br />Task Force request for support. <br />Administrator Chandler requested the addition to the Consent <br />Agenda of a correction regarding on Change Order #5 for the Main <br />Library. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, Commissioner Bird being absent, the <br />Board unanimously (4-0) added the above items to the <br />Consent Agenda as Items K, L and M. <br />V �aoE aU 199 <br />
