CHANDLER <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR <br />FROM:-__ H.T. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTOR <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICJ1 <br />SUBJECT: VACATED BUILDINGS <br />, BACKGROUND: <br />When construction is complete, we will be vacating the present <br />library and clinic buildings. It is anticipated that the clinic <br />building will be renovated and used to house the various offices <br />presently located in space leased at the 2001 building. There are no <br />plans to use the library for county business. It is estimated the <br />Library Building will be available in February, 1991 and the Clinic <br />Building in June, 1991. <br />LIBRARY BUILDING <br />Dr. Gary Norris, Superintendent of the School District has indicated <br />an interest in leasing the library building for some of their office <br />space. Dr. Norris advised this writer he would be back in touch with <br />as soon as details could be worked out. There is a restriction in that deed that <br />states "Any monies realized from sale of said quit -claimed property <br />must be used for books and internal requirements for the main County <br />Library and shall not be used for bricks and mortar or for the <br />reduction of the amount- of the bond issue.
