"Sonny" Dean, Director <br />Department of General Services <br />FROM: George Wol nterim Purchasing Manager <br />Division o cha�ing <br />SUBJ: IRC Bid #90-104/Potable Water Citrus Gardens <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On request from Utility Department, the bid for Potable Water Citrus <br />Gardens was properly advertised and Twenty -Five (25) Invitations to <br />Bid were sent out. On August 22, 1990, bids were received Ten (10) <br />vendors submitted proposals for the ccaarodity. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has reviewed the submittal to ascertain adherence to speci- <br />fications. Utility Systems of America was the lowest bidclex and met <br />all requirements. <br />FUNDING: <br />Monies for this project -will come from Budget Utility Funds Impact <br />Fees Work in Progress. Funds available $184,010.00. <br />RECONIlAMATION: <br />Staff recommends the Award of a Fixed Contract for $82,919.92 to the <br />low bidder, Utility Systems of America for the subject project. Also <br />authorize Board Chairman to execute contract documents. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously awarded a <br />Fixed Contract for $82,919.92 to the low bidder, <br />Utility Systems of America for the subject project, <br />per the following Bid Tabulation and as recommended <br />by staff: <br />12 <br />
