Tuesday, November 20, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners o -f Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />November 20, 1990, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. <br />Eggert, Chairman; Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr., and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />County Attorney; OMB Director Joe Baird; and Barbara Bonnah, <br />Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order, and Commissioner <br />Scurlock led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the addition to today's Agenda of <br />an appointment to the Drug, Alcohol Abuse & Mental Health <br />Planning Council. <br />Commissioner Scurlock requested the addition of a brief <br />discussion about the County's health insurance. <br />Commissioner Wheeler requested the addition of report on a <br />meeting with Judge Charles E. Smith and law enforcement officials <br />in Ft. Pierce to consider a pre-trial intervention program. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested the addition under Commissioner <br />Wheeler's items of approval of out -of -county travel for himse-1f <br />and Comm;ssioner Wheeler to attend a policy development meeting <br />of FACo on December 5, 1990. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the above additions to today's Agenda. <br />r <br />N 01 2 0199® �OC1K FAvt <br />
