Director Wright stated that essentially the same information
would apply. The South County voters will vote only on the
District question; the North County residents will be voting
on both questions. The proposed ordinance is intended to provide
the transition revenue needed to continue to provide the two
stations of service up there, and at one of the two stations,
there will be an EMS service location.
Commissioner Scurlock assumed that if this fails and the
other ordinance passes, we have an emergency plan for one year,
and this was confirmed.
