PAGE S11 <br />On Tuesday, November 12, 1990, Mr. Wally Bailey, the contractor <br />was notified that the work performed by his company, under the <br />Contract for County Project No. 8827 had been inspected and found <br />to be complete and satisfactory by the Public Works/Engineering <br />Department. <br />At this time the contractor is requesting final payment in the <br />amount of $18,650.00, this figure represents the remainder due <br />under the contract, per the terms of the contract, 50% of the <br />total of $37,300.00 was paid by Indian River County upon <br />completion of 500 of the total work. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Based -on the findings by the Public Works/Engineering Department, <br />after conducting continuous inspections and monitoring of the <br />work being performed during construction and confirmed by the <br />final inspection, this department recommends that final payment <br />be made to the contractor in the amount of $18,650.00. <br />Funding to be from Account No. 004-210-572-033.49. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />final payment to Wally Bailey Dredging in the amount of <br />$18,650, as set out in the above staff recommendation. <br />NORTH COUNTY SEWER CONTRACT NO. 3 - CHANGE ORDER NO. 5, QUANTITY <br />ADJUSTMENT <br />DATE: <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 11/19/90: <br />NOVEMBER 19, 1990 <br />TO: <br />JAMES E.
