<br />The County has been pet1tioned by'the Krupp Company, owner of the
<br />subject property, for the:, Xelease!;i of the five (5) foot utility
<br />easement on a 20,300 square foot;,:'portion of the Plaza at Vero
<br />Subdivision, hereinafter described; as Parcel #1, being the
<br />southerly five (5) feet of Parcel.t fl,as recorded in O.R. Book
<br />164, Page 1295, of the Public' Records of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, Section 12, Township 33Soxth, Range 39 East, Indian River
<br />County, Florida; according to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat
<br />Book 12, Page 19, of the public''Records of Indian River County,
<br />Florida. It is the Petitioner' s. intention to allow their tenant,
<br />HLK Corporation, to construct a res#,eurant on the subject property.
<br />The current zoning classification' -.'df the subject property is CG,
<br />General Commercial District.
<br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYanx
<br />The request has been reviewed by Southern Bell Telephone Company,
<br />Vero Beach Power Company, Vero Beach Water and Sewer Department,
<br />United Artist Cable Corporation, the Indian River County Utilities
<br />Department and the Road and Bridge and Engineering Divisions. Based
<br />upon their reviews, the staff determined that there would be no
<br />adverse impact to utilities being suppl---d to the subject property
<br />by release of the easement.
<br />RECOMMENDATION:
<br />Staff recommends to the Board, through the adoption of a
<br />resolution, the release of the five (5) foot utility easement on
<br />that 20,300 square foot portion known as Parcel #1, of the Plaza at
<br />Vero Subdivision, being the southerly five (5) feet of Parcel #1,
<br />Section 12, Township 33 South, )Flange 39 East, Plat Book 12, Page
<br />19, of the Public Records of Indian River County, Florida.
