Tuesday, December 18, 1990 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />December 18, 1990, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. <br />Eggert, Chairman; Richard N. Bird, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; Don C. Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. Charles Weaver, Pastor, 1st United Methodist Church, <br />gave the invocation, and Chairman Eggert led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested that the Deputy Sheriffs Blanket <br />Bond be added to the Consent Agenda as Item 7M; that a request <br />from the Indian River Arts Council be added under the Adminis- <br />trator's matters as Item 10; and that under her matters as Items <br />13 A (1) and (2) the following be added: Establishment of an <br />Affordable Housing Advisory Committee and Appointment of an <br />Alternate to TCRPC for the Town of Orchid. <br />Commissioner Wheeler requested the addition under his <br />matters of approval of out -of -County travel for him to look at <br />several courthouses and jails, and also wished to add a report on <br />a request from MANWAC. <br />Administrator Chandler requested that Item 9B(2) Windsor <br />Polo Rezoning Request be withdrawn from this Agenda and <br />rescheduled to a time certain of February 26th. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the additions to the Agenda of the items described <br />above and approved the rescheduling of Item 913(2). <br />DEC 18 1990 N�IIK 0 �ac� " <br />
