r - <br />SAN 0 8 1991 <br />BOOK 8� FAGS J <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the release of county utility liens as set out in <br />the above memo. <br />RELEASE OF ASSESSMENT LIENS ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />C. _Children's_ Home_ Society___ Chairman's Execution _o_f_Deed <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 12/28/90: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: December 28, 1990 <br />RE: CHILDREN'S HOME SOCIETY <br />By Resolution No. 89-132, The Board of County Commissioners <br />approved the private sale of County property to the <br />Children's Home Society for $25,000. The attorney for the <br />Children's Home Society has informed us that they are ready <br />to pay the required $25,000 to the County now and would like <br />to receive the executed deed covering the property. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Board authorize the Chairman to sign the <br />deed on behalf of the County. <br />Attorney Vitunac explained that since they have taken a lot <br />longer to do what they are going to do, we have to change the <br />date in the deed to coincide with the one year requirement and <br />make the reverter start one year from today's date. Instead of <br />"If said operation has not commenced, or been substantially <br />completed, by August_15,_199111, it states, "If said operation has <br />not commenced, or been substantially completed, by <br />one year—from—the date of execution of this deed". <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler 'the Board unanimously approved <br />the County Deed, as modified by Attorney Vitunac, and <br />authorized the Chairman's signature. . <br />COPY OF COUNTY DEED <br />BOARD <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE <br />6 <br />
