ANALYSIS: <br />Design of the water distribution system is complete, and the DER <br />Permit application has been submitted. Approval of Resolution 3 <br />will confirm and approve the preliminary assessments. <br />RECOMMENDATION• <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends that the <br />Board of County Commissioners approve Resolution No. 3, which <br />affirms the preliminary assessment of the subject project. <br />Utilities Director Terry Pinto advised that a resolution <br />confirming special assessments is needed for each of the 4 <br />streets listed below: <br />25th Avenue north of 8th Street <br />23rd Avenue north of 8th Street <br />26th Avenue north of 8th Street <br />26th Avenue south of 8th Street <br />Chairman Bird opened the Public Hearing on 25th Avenue north <br />of 8th street, and asked if anyone wished to be heard in this <br />matter. There being none, he closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 91-3, confirming the special assessments in <br />connection with a water main system located on 25th <br />Avenue north of 8th Street, which includes an <br />extension of the 8th Street Water Main, and <br />providing for Special Assessment Liens to be made of <br />Record. l <br />Chairman Bird opened the Public Hearing on 23rd Avenue north <br />of 8th Street, and asked if anyone wished to be heard in this <br />matter.
