Chairman Solari suggested that the Shade meeting be held, and if all goes well, the Board <br />would authorize Attorney Polackwich to schedule the mediation. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Flescher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to authorize the <br />County Attorney, contingent upon the success of the <br />Shade meeting, to enter into mediation with City First <br />Mortgage Corporation. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board: (1) scheduled <br />for January 11, 2011, a closed (Shade) meeting to discuss <br />settlement negotiations between City First Mortgage <br />Corporation v. Indian River County, relating to a lien <br />recorded by the County on property formerly owned by <br />Lewis Barton; and (2) authorized the County Attorney, <br />contingent upon the success of the Shade meeting, to enter <br />into mediation with City First Mortgage Corporation. <br />13.
