AlA, a phone might be installed in that <br />building. <br />FIND Waterways Assistance Program - Grant <br />Round Island Park FY91/92 and FBIP Fundin <br />)lication for <br />The committee recommended that County staff begin to design <br />improvements'to Round Island Park on the west side of AlA, <br />and also.recommended that funds be applied for from FIND and <br />FBIP. <br />MANWAC Recommendation Regarding the Posting of Manatee <br />Information Signs at Round Island Boat Ram <br />The committee agreed with the need for signage at Round <br />Island Boat Ramp, and it was the understanding of the <br />committee that FIND was making the signs and would install <br />them. <br />4) County airgrounds: Mudbogging and Remote Control Car Track <br />There has been no activity at the mudbogging-site or at the <br />remote control car track. The mudbogging lessee was <br />supposed to return the site to its original condition if <br />activities ceased, however, he did install several <br />improvements on the site. The committee recommended that <br />the lessee be contacted to see if he is willing to <br />relinquish the improvements in exchange for the County <br />restoring the site. Mr. VanAuken from Road and Bridge said <br />his crew could do the work. <br />It was noted that a man in Sebastian might be interested in <br />leasing the area at the remote control car track and <br />operating it. <br />Regarding Item 4, Commissioner Scurlock asked whether the <br />original lease for the Mudbogging site <br />improvements would return to the County, <br />that he would look into that. <br />58 <br />didn't provide that all <br />and Chairman Bird advised <br />
