C. Calcutta Drive Dock License <br />The Board reviewed memo from Assistant County Attorney William <br />Collins as follows: <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: William G. Collins II - Assistant County Attorney <br />DATE: February 20, 1991 <br />SUBJECT: Calcutta Drive Dock License <br />A building permit for a dock had been issued in 1989 which expired <br />without being utilized. When the holder of the permit came into <br />reactivate it, he was informed that because of the County's <br />self-insurance position we are now executing License Agreements which <br />require the County to be named as an additional insured on the <br />homeowner's liability policy, and that docks on County right-of-way <br />were now permitted only through a License Agreement. <br />Two License Agreements are presented. The first is for the present <br />owner who plans to construct the dock. The second License Agreement <br />is for the -potential purchaser of the dock, and is to take effect only <br />upon transfer of the property. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />That the Board approve the two License Agreements and authorize the <br />Chairman to execute the agreements for Chapam Corp. and Horst <br />Partenheimer. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />approved and authorized the Chairman to <br />execute two License Agreements for Chapam Corp <br />and Horst Partenheimer. <br />CHAPAM AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD. <br />PARTENHEIMER AGREEMENT WILL BE FILED IN YHE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE <br />BOARD WHEN FULLY EXECUTED AND RECEIVED.
