1� 1 BOOK 82 FA,uE SOS <br />Proposal Request #23 - Exit light revision add $1,598.00 is <br />required to replace five ( 5 ) exit lights which did not meet the <br />minimum height required by the building code. <br />Proposal Request #24 - Zone Maps add $280.00 are required by the <br />Fire District to show the location of fire and smoke detectors <br />within the structure. <br />Change Order #10 includes Construction Change Directive #2 and <br />Proposal Request #16 ($2,329.00) credit. <br />Construction Change Directive #2 - Delete insulation of R.A. <br />Ductwork ($2,079.00) was issued to delete external duct insulation <br />deemed unnecessary. <br />Proposal Request #16 - Sprinkler head revision add $250.00 was <br />requested due to a variation in layout by the Fire Sprinkler Sub - <br />Contractor. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS: <br />The total amount of change to the contract is a net deduct of $9.00 <br />for Change orders #9 and #10. Adjusted contract amount will be <br />$2,866,988.00 after execution of Change Orders #9 and #10. No <br />further Change Orders will be issued. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING: <br />Staff recommends approval of Change Orders #9 and #10 and requests <br />authorization for the Chairman to sign.
