MAR 19 1991 <br />BOOK 8 ?0 PACE X43 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91- 32 <br />A RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE CERTIFICATE OF THE <br />COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD. <br />WHEREAS, on March 12, 1991, the County held two bond referenda <br />of the qualified electors residing in the county on the questions of <br />whether or not Indian River County should consolidate its emergency <br />services into one district and whether or not, in the interim, the North <br />Indian River County Fire District could increase its authorized millage <br />to three and one-half mills; and <br />WHEREAS, after the ballots were counted, the results were <br />certified by the County Canvassing Board, which consisted of County <br />Judge James B. Balsiger, Board of County Commissioners' Chairman <br />Richard N. Bird, and Supervisor of Elections Ann Robinson, and the <br />Certificate, which shows that the referenda did pass, was turned over <br />to the Board of County Commissioners, , <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board <br />hereby officially acknowledges receipt of the Certificate of the County <br />Canvassing Board in connection with the above referenda. <br />The resolution was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />o <br />Eggert , and the motion was seconded by Commissioner S c u� k , <br />and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Richard N. Bird Aye <br />Vice Chairman Gary C. Wheeler Aye <br />Commissioner Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman Aye <br />Commissioner Carolyn K.
