MAR 2 6 1991 <br />BOOK FaGE� <br />property which is on the other side of the bridge and the owner of <br />that land wants to convey the appropriate right-of-way for the road <br />to be taken over by the County as a public road, then it would be <br />logical and proper to take the bridge back. <br />Director Davis commented the problem with the County accepting <br />responsibility of the road leading to the bridge is the fact that <br />the road is very narrow, only one lane, and the County would have <br />to bring it up to standards or incur liability for any accidents on <br />the road. <br />Mr. Crews offered to give the right-of-way on that road as <br />long as it is not a ridiculous sixty feet, which is not -needed. <br />Mr. Bird asked if there were any other comments from Mr. Crews <br />or anyone else. There being none, he closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />adopted and -passed Resolution 91-33, <br />abandoning Indian River County's interest, if <br />any, in the road and bridge west of CR 507 <br />along Ditch 1 north of Fellsmere. <br />24 <br />
