Assessments for 8th, 9th, <br />10th and 13th Avenues are to be paid within 90 days or in 2 equal <br />installments, the first to be made twelve months from the due <br />date and subsequent payments to be due yearly from the due date_ <br />at an interest rate of 12% established by the Board of County <br />Commissioners. During the public hearing for paving 134th <br />Street, the Board authorized assessments to be paid within 90 <br />days or in five equal installments. The due date is 90 days <br />after the final determination of the special assessment. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefitted owners is less than <br />the preliminary assessment roll, the only alternative presented <br />is to approve the final assessment rolls. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is recommended that the final assessment roll and the <br />"As -Built Resolution" for the paving of the above mentioned <br />subdivision be approved by the Board of County Commissioners and <br />that it be transferred to the Office of the Clerk to the Board <br />for recording in the "Assessment Lien Book" and to the Tax <br />Collectors office for collection. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone wished to speak regarding any of <br />the projects listed, and there were none. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested that in the future, rather than <br />including a copy of the assessment rolls in the backup material, <br />there just be a note included on the memo advising that the <br />assessment rolls are available in the County Commission offices for <br />anyone who wishes to review them. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the final assessment rolls and the "As -Built <br />Resolutions" as follows: <br />Resolution 91-34, 8th Avenue from 2nd Street to South Relief Canal <br />Resolution 91-35, 9th Avenue from 2nd Street to South Relief Canal <br />Resolution 91-36, 10th Avenue from 2nd Street to South Relief Canal <br />Resolution 91-37, 13th Avenue between 2nd Street and 4th Street <br />Resolution 91-38, 134th Street south of Roseland Road <br />29 <br />MAS 11 <br />BOOK .
