SECTION 01611 <br />STORAGE OF MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT <br />1.1 GENERAL <br />A. Store and protect materials andequipmentin accordance with manufacturer's -- - <br />recommendations and requirements of Specifications. <br />B. Make all arrangements and provisions necessary for the storage of materials <br />and equipment. Place all excavated materials, construction equipment, and <br />materials and equipment to be incorporated into the Work, so as not to injure <br />any part of the Work or existing facilities, and so that free access can be had at <br />all times to all parts of the Work and to all public utility installations in the vicinity <br />of the Work. Keep materials and equipment neatly and compactly stored in <br />locations that will cause a minimum of inconvenience to other contractors, <br />public travel, adjoining owners, tenants and occupants. Arrange storage in a <br />manner to provide easy access for inspection. <br />C. Areas available on the construction site for storage of material and equipment <br />shall be as shown or approved by the ENGINEER. <br />D. Store materials and equipment which are to become the property of the <br />OWNER to facilitate their inspection and insure preservation of the quality and <br />fitness of the Work, including proper protection against damage by extreme <br />temperatures and moisture. <br />E. Do not use lawns, grass plots or other private property for storage purposes <br />without written permission of the OWNER or other person in possession or <br />control of such premises. <br />F. CONTRACTOR shall be fully responsible for loss or damage to stored <br />materials and equipment. <br />G. Do not open manufacturers containers until time of installation unless <br />recommended by the manufacturer or otherwise specified. <br />H.
