<br />MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT
<br />PART 1— GENERAL
<br />1.01 GENERAL
<br />Measurement and payment will be based upon work completed and accepted in
<br />accordance with the Contract Documents. No separate payment will be made for
<br />excavation, trenching, dewatering, backfilling, leakage tests, surveying, density tests,
<br />or other incidental items of work not shown in the Agreement.
<br />1.02 EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS IN STORAGE
<br />Partial payment for materials and equipment in proper storage at the site of the work
<br />or other approved storage site will be made for those items for which the Contractor
<br />has submitted paid invoices to the Engineer. The partial payment for stored materials
<br />will be 50% of the value of materials and equipment, based on receipted bills,
<br />furnished but not incorporated in the work, as determined by Engineer.
<br />1.03 MEASUREMENT
<br />A. Mobilization: Measurement shall be on a lump sum basis, and shall be limited to the
<br />following maximum amounts:

<br />Should the lump sum price bid for the item Mobilization exceed the maximum
<br />permissible amount for this item, as specified herein, the bid price will be reduced to
<br />the maximum permissible amount, and the reduced price will be used in correctly
<br />determining the total price for comparison of bids received. The cost of video taping
<br />the pre -construction condition shall be included in the lump -sum cost of
<br />mobilization.
