Penalties and Procedures - Animal Control <br />Ordinance <br />The Board reviewed memo from Assistant County Attorney Terry <br />O'Brien dated April 18, 1991: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Terrence P. O'Brien - Assistant County Attorney <br />DATE: April 18, 1991 <br />RE: AMENDMENT OF FEES, PENALTIES AND PROCEDURES <br />RELATED TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE ANIMAL CONTROL <br />ORDINANCE <br />The Animal Control Division of the Department of Emergency Services is <br />preparing to initiate the issuance of licenses. A review of Resolution <br />1 83-43, which established certain fees, penalties and procedures, shows <br />that certain revisions are necessary since this 1983 resolution. The <br />fees changes are as follows: _ <br />Current m Proposed <br />License fee unsterilized animal $10.00 per year $40.00 per year <br />Half year license After June 30 After April 30 <br />Rabies prepayment fee $8.00 $15.00 <br />A revised and superseding resolution has been prepared and is attached <br />for your consideration.. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 91-57 amending fees, penalties and <br />procedures related to the Enforcement of the Animal <br />Control Ordinance as recommended by Staff. <br />8 <br />
