However, at this time, the Board only needs to direct <br />staff to initiate the amendment process so that the PSAC request <br />can be considered during the next round of Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment requests. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board authorize and direct staff to <br />initiate a Comprehensive Plan amendment request to consider a <br />change to the Utilities Connection Matrix and associated policies, <br />as recommended by the PSAC. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />authorized and directed staff to initiate a <br />Comprehensive Plan amendment request to consider a <br />change to the Utilities Connection Matrix, as <br />recommended by the PSAC. <br />I. Lewis (\ <br />Budget Analyst <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />In the meeting of August 21, 1990, the Board of County Commissioners approved an <br />:agreement between the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs and Indian <br />-River County which states the County shall receive an amount not to exceed $46,039 for <br />performing certain Emergency Management functions to comply with U.S. Nuclear <br />Regulatory Commission.
