Baird <br />r <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. Funds for the 14th Street Canal Dredging were budgeted in 1989/90 fiscal <br />year. A Turbidity Test during the dredging was to satisfy requirements set <br />forth in the DER permit. <br />2. In the meeting of October 16, 1990, the Board of County Commissioners <br />approved the FY -91 Hazardous Material Emergency Planning Agreement. <br />This entry appropriates the funding. <br />3. United Artist Cable donated $1,500.00 to the Main Library for audio visual <br />equipment. This entry is to appropriate this donation. <br />4. The attached entry is to appropriate the remaining $80,000.00 of the <br />Lowenstein bequest to purchase genealogy books. <br />5. Transfer money from the library construction fund to library operations for <br />items that are not classified as capital, but are part of the Library <br />construction money (e.g. automation material, library materials, items under <br />$200.00). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget <br />amendment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously <br />approved Budget Amendment 036 as recommended by <br />Staff. <br />17 <br />MAY 7 1991 <br />KX4 F., 'T <br />=� 1 <br />
