ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously awarded <br />IRC Bid #91-62 to Driveways, Inc. as the lowest, <br />most responsive and responsible bidder meeting <br />specifications, and authorized the Chairman to <br />execute the contract, as recommended by Staff. <br />SAID DOCUMENT WILL.BE PLACED ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO <br />THE BOARD WHEN FULLY EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />COMMISSION MEETING CANCELLATION <br />Commissioner Eggert announced that both she and Commissioner <br />Scurlock will be gone the week of June 23. Commissioner Bowman <br />added that she, also, will be gone that week. He has respectfully requested permission to speak <br />very briefly to the County Commission of May 7, 1991, to personally <br />thank the Commissioners for the additional compensation and support <br />received during his tour of active military duty. <br />It is recommended that this matter be added to the Commission agenda <br />for May 7, 1991. <br />Second Class Petty Officer Joe Walls came before the Board, <br />wishing to express his thanks to the Board for the extra check sent <br />23 <br />L- MAY - 7 1991 <br />
