UW -90 -16 -DS) <br />The subject 'project. was approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners on October 16, 1990, for in-house design. Plans and <br />specifications have been completed, and the DER permit. application <br />has been submitted. <br />": <br />ANALYSIS <br />YThis is a petition project and construction will be paid for through <br />assessment of benefitted property owners. The two properties on the <br />corner of 51st Court and 16th Street will not be assessed as they <br />are already being serviced by County water. There are 13 parcels in <br />Silver Oaks, but 2 are already being serviced by County water, so <br />they will not be assessed. A petition was signed by 9 out of the <br />remaining 11 property owners (about 82%). <br />The project consists of installing about 1,100 linear feet of 6" and <br />4" water line by connecting to an existing water main on 16th Street <br />(Rosewood Road). <br />Resolutions I and II, which contain the preliminary assessment roll <br />and which further set a public hearing date are attached. <br />Preliminary Assessment costs amount to $0.0639 per square foot of <br />property owned; the total estimated cost of the project (including <br />construction and engineering) is $23,989.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of Resolutions I and II. <br />86 <br />
