SECTION 00450 <br />SCHEDULE OF SUPPLIERS <br />The Contract Documents are based upon the equipment or products available from the Suppliers denoted <br />as "A", 'B", etc. Provision will be made in. the Contract Documents for alternate suppliers whose <br />equipment or product may be deemed equivalent in quality (see Paragraph 6.05 of the General <br />Conditions). However, the Bidder must indicate in his Bid which supplier the Bidder intends to use for <br />each item of equipment listed on this form by circling one of the listed suppliers. Should a Bidder fail to <br />circle a named item in each category, or if he circles more than one listed supplier, he hereby agrees to <br />provide the item listed as "A." <br />If the Bidder desires to propose one or more alternate suppliers, he may write in the name of such <br />alternates in the spaces provided in Section 00460, but he must nevertheless also circle one of the listed <br />suppliers in this Section and include this -circled supplier in the bid price listed in the bid form. <br />If the proposed alternate supplier is determined "not equivalent" by the ENGINEER, the Bidder must use <br />the circled supplier. If the Bidder fails to indicate which listed supplier the Bidder intends to use if an <br />alternate is rejected, the Bidder must use the supplier listed as "A". Also, if the Bidder circles more than <br />one listed supplier, he must use the first supplier circled (unless an alternate is approved). Each proposed <br />alternate will be evaluated in accordance with Paragraph 6.05 of the General Conditions. <br />The OWNER may request and the Bidder shall supply complete information on proposed alternates prior <br />to the Notice of Award. <br />00450-1 <br />
