<br />DATE: April 30, 1991
<br />SUBJECT: Supplementary Ordinance and Rule Dealing With
<br />Environmental Health
<br />The attached ordinance and rule have been requested by legal counsel
<br />for the State Department of Environmental Regulation, as a condition of
<br />continued DER funding of our local underground storage tank inspection
<br />program. The ordinance and rule do not add any powers not already
<br />available under Section 7 of the Special Act creating the Environmental
<br />Control Board. The proposed ordinance and rule simply specifically
<br />list DNR, St. Johns River Water Management District, the Division of
<br />Forestry and the Departments of Business and Professional Regulations
<br />as those agencies whose laws and rules may be enforced under the
<br />Environmental Control Act by the Environmental Control Officer.
