DeBraal — Deputy County Attorrl)y�l <br />THROUGH: Dylan Reingold — County Attorney <br />DATE: February 12, 2014 <br />RIVER COUNTY <br />ATTORNEY <br />19 G - <br />SUBJECT: Resolution Formally Designating a Portion of County Owned Property as <br />86th Lane Right -Of -Way <br />In January, 2014, the County purchased a parcel of property from the List of Lands <br />Available after recommendation by the Public Works Department because a portion of <br />the property was being used as a road segment, known as 86th Lane, but under private <br />ownership, with at least 15 parcels abutting the segment. <br />The intent of the County is to now earmark by a formal document that portion of the <br />property for 86th Lane right-of-way in order to alleviate any potential ingress/egress and <br />boundary issues that may surface in the future in the event that the remainder property <br />is sold or reconveyed and put back on the tax rolls. In this regard, a resolution has been <br />prepared for the above stated purpose. <br />FUNDING: <br />The only cost associated with this matter will be recording fees for recordation of the <br />resolution in the amount of $44.00.
