G. All equipment, materials, and workmanship shall meet or exceed all current <br /> Indian River County Water and Wastewater Utility Standards and shall be <br /> subject to the unconditional inspection and approval of IRCDUS. <br /> H. The Engineer of Record shall have an on-site inspector (representative) who <br /> shall witness and document all materials used, installation procedures, <br /> problems encountered, and witness and certify all tests specified by the <br /> operation permit checklists. Daily construction reports shall be submitted <br /> monthly to IRCDUS, and no later than seven days after completion of the <br /> construction. Indian River County has unconditional rights to inspect the <br /> construction and materials at any time. <br /> I. Where water outages will occur, a minimum of five (5) working days notice to <br /> IRCDUS and the public is required. The IRCDUS water plant operator shall <br /> be notified a minimum of five (5) working days prior to flushing of lines. A five <br /> (5) working days notice is required for access to private property. <br /> J. The Property Owner, Developer, engineering firm, and Contractor shall hold <br /> Indian River County harmless in any suits, claims, and/or liabilities arising <br /> from subject construction. <br /> K. All connections to the IRCDUS water system shall be made in the presence <br /> of IRCDUS inspectors. IRCDUS personnel for the purpose of flushing, <br /> testing, and putting the system on line shall operate all valves on the IRCDUS <br /> systems. <br /> 15.04 ACCEPTANCE <br /> A. No system shall be cleared for use by IRCDUS until all requirements of the <br /> operation permit checklist have been satisfied and approved by IRCDUS. <br /> See Part IV of these Standards for the requirements for IRCDUS Utility <br /> Construction Check Lists for Potable Water Distribution System and <br /> Wastewater Collection/Distribution System. <br /> B. When a constructed potable water system or sewer system lies dormant for a <br /> period of more than (6) months, regardless of having received FDEP <br /> clearance or not, the system will be subjected to rigorous inspection, testing <br /> and cleaning, by methods to be determined by the IRCDUS — Utility <br /> Inspector, and in accordance with AWWA Standards C-651-99 or latest <br /> revision. Pressure testing, flushing and chlorination will be required. No <br /> potable water main shall be placed into service until bacteriological sampling <br /> and analysis has been made. Any constructed gravity sanitary sewer main <br /> and/or sewer lift station will be subject to the same methods as stated above, <br /> including but not limited to cleaning, television inspection, <br /> infiltration/exfiltration, or other methods to be determined by IRCDUS — Utility <br /> Inspector. Any deficiencies in construction shall be corrected immediately <br /> upon discovery and shall meet current IRCDUS water and Wastewater <br /> Standards. <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> 15-4 1 a3. to S. <br />
