• No Sunday service <br />In Question 5, employees were asked to identify recommended improvements to the GoLine <br />service. The responses included: <br />I <br />• improving coordination between dispatch, drivers and passengers <br />• Re-evaluating routes to avoid overlapping service <br />• Adding more stops and routes <br />• Expanding service into the evening hours <br />• Providing newer and larger buses on heavily traveled routes <br />• Dedicating a vehicle for wheelchair trips so routes can better adhere to the schedule <br />• Giving drivers more flexibility to slightly deviate from fixed route <br />Question 6 asked respondents if additional early morning or later evening service was <br />necessary. Seven employees responded with a "yes" while the remaining I I responded with <br />a "no." Question 7 asked if Sunday service is a needed improvement to the existing transit <br />system. Out of the 18 respondents, 14 indicated that Sunday service is not necessary. <br />In Question 8, employees were asked to indicate the greatest strength of the GoLine service. <br />The strength identified by a majority of respondents was the ability to offer a valuable service <br />to the transit dependent population at no cost. A significant number of respondents identified <br />courtesy, dedication and professionalism of the drivers as GoLine's greatest strength. <br />In Question 9, employees were asked to identify GoLine's greatest shortcoming. The <br />responses included: <br />• Employee pay rates <br />• Perceived disconnect between employees and management <br />• Not enough routes/coverage for GoLine and Community Coach <br />• Lack of shelters <br />• Lack of adequate signage <br />• Dissemination of general information to drivers/passengers <br />• Overcrowded buses <br />• Overall condition of bus facilities <br />In Question 10, respondents were asked to recommend improvements to the transit service if <br />money were no object.
