Although Community Coach's average passenger trip length has declined significantly <br />since 2008, there was an overall increase of 34 percent over the trend period. In FY <br />2010, Community Coach's average passenger trip length of 8.2 miles was 4 percent <br />higher than the peer median. <br />Source: National Transit Database 2006-2010 <br />Figure 3-39 Average Passenger Trip Length <br />Three measures that reflect the productivity of a system are passenger trips per vehicle <br />operated in maximum service, passenger trips per revenue hour, and passenger trips per <br />revenue mile. The peer and trend data for Community Coach are shown in the next set of <br />Figures (3-40 through 3-42). All three measures showed substantial declines over the <br />trend period (31, 25, and 33, percent respectively).
