The Committee reviewed item #7 of the possible new Local Incentives Report <br /> "r 1. Waive the Local Business Tax Receipt. <br /> UNDER DISCUSSION <br /> Attorney Polackwich said the Local Business Tax Receipt was formerly called the <br /> Business Tax Receipt. <br /> Attorney Polackwich said the Local Business Tax Receipt could be waived for a <br /> specified period of time. <br /> The general consensus of the committee was in favor of waiving the Local <br /> Business Tax Receipt for a specified time. <br /> The Committee reviewed item #8 of the possible new Local Incentives Report <br /> 8. Waive (in whole or in part) franchise or fee-in-lieu of franchise fee <br /> (water/sewer, electric, garbage, etc.) <br /> UNDER DISCUSSION <br /> Commissioner Flescher said the incentive should be consistent with the other <br /> `�— incentives that were already established.
