The multiple-family districts are established to implement the policies of the <br /> Indian River County Comprehensive Plan for managing land designated for residential uses, <br /> providing opportunities for multifamily residential units and ensuring adequate public facilities to <br /> meet the needs of residents. These districts are also intended to implement the county's housing <br /> policies by providing opportunities for a varied and diverse housing supply. <br /> (2) Districts established. The following districts are established to implement the provisions of this <br /> chapter: <br /> RM-3 <br /> RM-4 <br /> RM-6 <br /> RM-8 <br /> RM-10 <br /> (3) Relationship to land use map. Multiple-family districts may be established in the following land use <br /> designations: <br /> Land Use Desi nations <br /> Zoning District L-1 L-2 -1 -2 REC <br /> RM-3 X X X <br /> RM-4 <br /> RM-6 <br /> RM-8 Ix <br /> RM-10 <br /> X <br /> District permitted <br /> District not permitted <br /> (4) Uses. Uses in the multiple-family districts are classified as permitted uses, administrative permit <br /> I uses, and special exception uses.
