Van Fleet Water Production Facility Improvements BVP 13-196 <br /> EXHIBIT 8 <br /> NON-COLLUSION AFFIDAVIT OF SUBCONTRACTOR <br /> The Contractor shall not execute any agreement with any subcontractor or permit any subcontractor to perform any work <br /> included in this Contract until he has submitted a non-collusion affidavit from the subcontractor in substantially the form <br /> shown below and has received written approval of subcontractor From the County. <br /> State of ) <br /> SS <br /> County of 1 <br /> being first duly sworn,deposes and says that: <br /> 1. They are of ,hereaner referred to as <br /> the Subcontractor; <br /> 2. They are fully informed respecting the preparation and contents of subcontractor's BVP Submittal submitted by the <br /> subcontractor to the Contractor for certain work in connection with BVP <br /> 13-196 Van Fleet Water Production Facility Improvements. <br /> 3. Such subcontractor's BVP Submittal is genuine and is not a collusive or sham submittal; <br /> 4. Neither the subcontractor nor any of its officers, partners, owners, agents, representatives, employees or parties in <br /> interest,including this affiant,has in any way colluded,conspired, connived or agreed,directly or indirectly with any <br /> other Contractor, firm or person to submit a collusive or sham BVP Submittal in connection with such Contract or to <br /> refrain from submitting a BVP Submittal in connection with such Contract, or has in any manner, directly or <br /> indirectly, sought by unlawful agreement or connivance with any other Contractor, firm or person to fix the price or <br /> prices in said subcontractor's BVP Submittal or secure through collusion, conspiracy, connivance or unlawful <br /> agreement any advantage against the County or any person interested in the proposed Contract;and <br /> 5.
