® SUMMARY Or MAJOR AMENDMENTS <br /> TO TEAMSTERS COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT <br /> Article 9—Availability <br /> Bargaining unit employees required to work when nonessential employees are released from duty <br /> with pay in response to a forecasted threat or actual County-declared emergency will be paid one and <br /> one-half times their regular rate of pay for all hours worked during the same time period that the <br /> nonessential employees are not required to work. This is a reduction from previous language <br /> requiring time and one-half from the time of declaration of emergency. <br /> Article 28—Leaves of Absence <br /> At the discretion of the department director or his designee,unpaid leave may be authorized for part- <br /> time employees who do not accrue sick and vacation leave (hired on or after 06/22/01), up to a <br /> maximum of 60 hours per calendar year. This is to distinguish part-time employees who do not <br /> accrue leave from full-time employees who need the County Administrator's approval prior to a <br /> leave of absence without pay. <br /> Article 33—Wages <br /> Cost-of-living increase of 3%for FY 2013/14 <br /> Estimated Cost: $315,642 including salaries and benefits <br /> Reopener language to collectively bargain cost-of-living increases for FY 2014/15 and FY 2015/16. <br /> Cost estimate for these increases will depend upon amount of COLA agreed to in future years. <br /> Anniversary increase of 2.5%,or$800 Jump sum if topped out,in FY 2014/15 and FY 2015/16. No <br /> anniversary increase for FY 2013/14. <br /> Estimated Cost: approximately $240,000 each year for 2014/15 and 2015/16 <br /> 26 <br />
