Per your request, we reviewed the bids that were submitted for the above referenced <br /> project. Just two bids were submitted (RJ Sullivan and Close Construction). Furthermore, there <br /> were substantial differences in the line item costs of both bids. For these reasons, we have <br /> recommended that the project be re-bid, and that a mandatory pre-bid meeting be held to ensure <br /> that all contractors have a clear understanding of the specifications. Some additional services will <br /> be required to put the project out to bid a second time. <br /> Based on our understanding, our additional scope of work would include the following services: <br /> 1. Revision of the specifications to include all addendurns to the original specifications <br /> 2. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting <br /> 3. Coordination with contractors and purchasing to address any questions <br /> 4.
