Baird, County Administrator <br /> THROUGH: John King, Director of Emergency Services t <br /> FROM: Brian Burkeen, Assistant Chief <br /> DATE: February 4, 2013 <br /> SUBJECT: Frequency Relocation Agreement with AT&T <br /> It is respectfully requested that the information contained herein be given formal consideration by the <br /> Board of Commissioners. <br /> DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br /> On December 11, 2012, the BCC approved a replacement communication microwave through a <br /> cooperative effort with AT&T. The project is ready to move forward and requires the BCC to <br /> execute the attached Frequency Relocation Agreement. <br /> The referenced county microwave is approximately 25 years old and is nearing end of service life. <br /> AT&T commits to coordinating their efforts with the county's communications vendor to ensure this <br /> project does not disrupt the daily radio services. AT&T further commits to the county completing an <br /> acceptance test of the new installation before the county surrenders our existing license. <br /> FUNDING: <br /> There are no funding requirements for this item. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends the BCC approve and execute the attached Frequency Relocation Agreement with <br /> AT&T. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> Frequency Relocation Agreement <br /> Copy on file in the Board of County Commission Office <br /> 30 <br />
