Tuesday, May 21, 1991 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, May 21, 1991, at <br />9:00 a.m.. Present were Richard N. Bird, Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, <br />Vice Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, Margaret C. Bowman and Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Virginia <br />Hargreaves and Patricia Held, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. Raymond C. Huddle, Redeemer Lutheran Church, gave the <br />invocation and Margaret C. Bowman led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Chandler requested the addition of Item H.6., <br />regarding harvesting of late bloom fruit. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the addition to the agenda. <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br />Proclamation - National Safe Boating Week <br />Proclamation designating the week of June 2 to 8, 1991 as <br />National Safe Boating Week in Indian River County is hereby made a <br />part of the record. <br />
