Davis <br /> District 1 <br /> Currently, Ordinance Section 912.17 Code of Indian River County, Florida, restricts <br /> commercial vehicles parking of commercial vehicles in residential areas not to exceed <br /> 1 (one)ton rated capacity. <br /> ,OW.- Due to modifications to the suspension of newer truck models (see attached brochures), <br /> I request the Board of County Commissioners give the legal staff direction to draft an <br /> amendment to Ordinance Section 912.17 in support of increasing vehicle weight <br /> capacity in a residential area not exceeding a rated capacity of one and a quarter ton <br /> (1.25)or less. <br /> As this is an amendment to County land use regulations, the amendment must be <br /> considered by the Professional Services Advisory Committee and the Planning and <br /> Zoning Commission. <br /> WSDlmlh <br /> F:\SCMgenda Items120080avis-Amendment to Ordinance 912.17.doc <br /> A"AMMENT 1 210 <br />
