PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> BETWEEN <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> `"" AND <br /> THE TREASURE COAST REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL <br /> FOR <br /> PROVISION OF POSITION SPECIFIC INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM <br /> TRAINING <br /> This Agreement entered into on the date specified herein by and between Indian River <br /> County, Florida,hereinafter referred to as the "County" and the Treasure Coast Regional <br /> Planning Council (TCRPC), hereinafter referred to as the "TCRPC." The purpose of this <br /> Professional Services Agreement is to provide the basis under which the County and <br /> TCRPC agree to cooperate in the coordination and conduct of Incident Command System <br /> position specific training. <br /> WHEREAS,The TCRPC is authorized to provide technical assistance in the preparation, <br /> response and recovery from the impacts of disaster events to local governments in the <br /> "Treasure Coast Region. <br /> WHEREAS, It is hereby declared to be in the public interest and the purpose of this <br /> Professional Services Agreement that the County and the TCRPC jointly pledge their <br /> intention to cooperatively complete the Incident Command System position specific <br /> training required to respond to and recover from disasters through specific positional <br /> duties in accordance with State and federal regulations as required by the National <br /> Response Framework and the U. S.Department of homeland Security. <br /> NOW THEREFORE,THE PARTIES DO HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Specific areas of agreement to coordinate respective activities are as follows: <br /> ARTICLE 1 <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The TCRPC shall furnish the necessary personnel,materials, and services and coordinate <br /> with the County to provide a facility (except as otherwise provided herein) and shall do <br /> all things necessary for or incident to the specified training set forth in this Agreement <br /> and in the Scope of Services attached hereto and incorporated by reference as Attachment <br /> A of this Agreement. <br /> The Agreement shall begin on the last day of signing and shall end on April 18, 2013. <br /> The TCRPC shall provide all staff services to the County for provision of training as <br /> identified in Attachment A and made part of this agreement. The TCRPC shall be bound <br /> by the Agreement with the County and requirements of the FY2010 Homeland Security <br /> Grant Program under the Florida Division of Emergency Management specified in <br /> contract number 11-DS-9Z-10-40-01-386. The TCRPC shall commence and complete the <br /> project with all practical dispatch and in accordance with the provisions herein. <br /> 154 <br />
