I <br /> PRO CLAMA TION <br /> 3 <br /> HONORING SHIRLEY WOLSTENHOLME ON HER RETIREMENT FROM <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTYBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVICES/LIBRARY DIVISION <br /> WHEREAS, Shirley Wolstenholme is retiring from Indian River County effective May 30, <br /> 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, Shirley Wolstenholme started as a Youth Coordinator for the Sebastian River <br /> Library Association on November 18, 1985; and <br /> WHEREAS, Shirley Wolstenholme began her employment with the County as a Librarian H <br /> at the North Indian River County Library on October 1, 1986. As a result of her passion and <br /> devotion to her job, the North Indian River County Library has gone far in achieving its goal <br /> of being a "Children's Door to Learning." During her twenty-six years of service, she has <br /> planned and implemented 10,711 Children's Programs attended by 327,156 children. Through <br /> her efforts, Shirley Wolstenholme has encouraged the development of a culture where <br /> literature and learning are valued in the community. She is a dedicated employee and her <br /> work has been greatly appreciated by her employer, co-workers and patrons alike; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds r <br /> Shirley Wolstenholme's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to express their <br /> appreciation for the dedicated service she has given to Indian River County for the last twenty- <br /> six years; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff extend <br /> heartfelt wishes for success in her future endeavors! <br /> Adopted this 21st day of May 2013. <br /> r <br /> �V (� BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ' <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> IL , Joseph E.
