ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING PROPOSAL <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br /> FENCE/WALL/PAVING/WAREHOUSE EXPANSION <br /> May 02,2013 <br /> PROJECT NO.2013.01.1.2 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Phase III: Construction Administration <br /> Architectural/Engineering Services -----$3,800.00 <br /> --------------------------------------- <br /> Civil Engineering $3,025.00 <br /> Total Fee $6,825.00 <br /> The above Fees are based on the scope of work as required to Design,Permit and Construct the Fencing <br /> &Wall Improvements, Site Paving Expansion and Warehouse Addition.In addition to the above Basic <br /> Architectural and Engineering Fees the following is a summary of work for the Additional Services Fees <br /> addressed above: <br /> 1. Civil Engineering—See Attachment"A". <br /> 2. Surveying-See Attachment"A". <br /> 3. Cost Consultant—Preparation of construction cost estimates to establish project cost and for <br /> each Phase of the Design as stated below. <br /> 4. Fire Protection—Engineering services to design the extension of the existing fire protection <br /> system within the new Warehouse Addition. <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> This proposal is based upon the provision of the following Scope of Services: <br /> L SCHEMATIC DESIGN PHASE <br /> The Architect shall assist the Owner in establishing the program and ascertain the requirements of <br /> the project and shall arrive at a mutual understanding of such requirements with the Owner. <br /> Based on this understanding the Architect shall prepare Schematic Design Documents consisting <br /> of drawings,outline specifications and a preliminary cost estimate. <br /> H. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE <br /> Based on the approved Schematic Design Documents and any adjustments authorized by the <br /> Owner in the program schedule or construction budget, the Architect shall prepare, for approval <br /> by the Owner, Design Development Documents consisting of drawings and other documents to <br /> fix and describe the size and character of the project as to Architectural, Structural, Mechanical <br /> and Electrical systems, materials and such other elements as may be appropriate. The Architect <br /> shall advise the Owner of any adjustments to the preliminary estimate of Construction Cost. <br /> III. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS PHASE <br /> Based on the approved Design Development Documents and any further adjustments in the scope <br /> or quality of the project or in the construction budget authorized by the Owner,the Architect shall <br /> prepare, for approval by the Owner, Construction Documents consisting of Drawings and <br /> Specifications setting forth in detail the requirements for the construction of the Project. <br /> IV.
