PR O CLAMA TION <br /> HONORING DANIEL DIETZ ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SERVICES/FIRE RESCUE <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Dietz retiring from Indian River County Fire Rescue effective June S, <br /> 2013;and <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Dietz began his firefighting career with the Vero Beach Volunteer Fire <br /> Department on March 3, 1980. On October 3, 1981, he was hired with the South County Fire <br /> District as a full-time Firefighter. On February 6, 1983, he became a Firefighter-EMT and <br /> on July 7, 1984, he was promoted to a Driver/Engineer. On March 31, 1989, he was promoted <br /> to Fire Inspector for Fire Prevention. On July 3, 1992, he was promoted to Bureau Chief of <br /> Fire Prevention and to Battalion Chief for `B'Shift on October 25, 2002, which is the position <br /> he holds today; and <br /> WHEREAS, Daniel Dietz served this County and the Public with distinction and selflessness. <br /> During his years of service, he was dedicated and his work was greatly appreciated by <br /> employer and co-workers alike; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds <br /> Daniel Dietz's efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to express their <br /> appreciation for the dedicated service Daniel Dietz gave to Indian River Countyfor thirty.-one <br /> years; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff extend <br /> heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors! <br /> Adopted this,4`�day of June 2013. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> �$ 4 <br /> r 3 ll -i <br /> Joseph E.
