PROCLAMATION Is C <br /> HONORING KEVIN GIBBONS ON HIS RETIREMENT FROM <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> DEPARTMENT OF EMERGENCY SER VICESIFIRE RESCUE <br /> WHEREAS, Kevin Gibbons is retiring from Indian River County Fire Rescue effective May <br /> 31, 2013; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kevin Gibbons was hired on December 14, 1983 with South Indian River Fire <br /> District as a Firefighter. He was promoted to Driver/Engineer on May 25, 1990, which is the <br /> position he holds today, and <br /> WHEREAS, Kevin Gibbons holds several certifications. He became Heavy Rescue Certified <br /> on March 22, 1985; Hazardous Materials Certif ed on January 3, 1989; and an Aerial Truck <br /> Operator on January 6, 1989. He became certif ed in Aircraft Rescue Firefighting on June <br /> 15, 1990. He is also ARFF Truck Maintenance Certified and a Field Training Officer for <br /> Aircraft Rescue Firefighting; and <br /> WHEREAS, Kevin Gibbons serves this County and the Public with distinction and <br /> selflessness He is dedicated and his work is greatly appreciated by the employer, citizens, and <br /> co-workers alike; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board applauds <br /> Kevin Gibbons' efforts on behalf of the County, and the Board wishes to express their <br /> appreciation for the dedicated service he has given to Indian River County for the last twenty- <br /> nine years; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER PROCLAIMED that the Board of County Commissioners and staff extend <br /> heartfelt wishes for success in his future endeavors! <br /> Adopted this 4th day of June 2013. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> �V C INDIANRIVER COUNTY FLORIDA <br /> F <br /> Joseph E.
