Brown <br /> Director, Management& Budget <br /> DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS <br /> The Indian River County Health Department has submitted their annual contract for approval by the <br /> Board of County Commissioners. The contract, required under Chapter 154, Florida Statutes, contains <br /> the full annual operating budget, revenues and expenditure program plan for the Health Department for <br /> 2013/2014. <br /> This contract provides for county funding of the Health Department. The direct contribution for fiscal <br /> year 2013/2014 totals $534,521, which is the same amount of funding as the current fiscal year. In <br /> addition, the County provides maintenance and operations for Health Department facilities. This is <br /> reflected as an in-kind contribution of$608,404 for a grand total County contribution of$1,142,925. <br /> FUNDING <br /> Funding for the Florida Department of Health contract is provided by the General Fund.
