Jug 18 1991 BOOK 8.3 F'r+'t 4 $Z <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0) <br />Commissioner Wheeler being absent, adopted Ordinance <br />91-25, amending the comprehensive plan as identified <br />in attachment "A", and directed staff to transmit <br />these amendments to the DCA for their compliance <br />review. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 91-25 <br />AN ORDIVANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />FOLLOWING ELEMENTS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: FUTURE LAND USE; <br />HOUSING; INFRASTRUCTURE; CONSERVATION; CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS; <br />AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP; AND PROVIDING FOR <br />CODIFICATION, REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS, SEVERABILITY <br />AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners adopted the Indian <br />River County Comprehensive Plan on February 13, 1990, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency held a public hearing on <br />all comprehensive plan amendment requests on November 15, 1990, <br />after due public notice, and <br />WHEREAS, the Local Planning Agency recommended approval of <br />this comprehensive plan amendment to adopt the remedial actions <br />required by the Indian River County/DCA Stipulated Settlement <br />Agreement to the Board of County Commissioners, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />i <br />County held a Transmittal Public Hearing on December 11, 1990, <br />I <br />after advertising pursuant to F.S.163.3184(15)(b)(1) and (c), and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners approved the <br />transmittal of this comprehensive plan amendment to the Florida <br />Department of Community Affairs for their review and comment, and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners announced at the <br />transmittal public hearing its intention to hold and advertise a <br />final public hearing at the adoption stage of this plan amendment, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Community Affairs received <br />the Indian River County Comprehensive Plan Amendments on December <br />19, 1990, for the State review pursuant to F.S.163.3184(4), and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County received the Objections, <br />Recommendations, and Comments (ORC) report from the Florida <br />Department of Community Affairs on April 22, 1991, and <br />52 <br />
