Tuesday, August 20, 1991 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />August 20, 1991, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Richard N. <br />Bird, Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />County Attorney; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Richard Clark, Pastor of Our Savior Lutheran <br />Church, gave the invocation, and Commissioner Scurlock led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Bird requested the following additions to today's <br />Agenda: <br />1) As Item H on the Consent Agenda, a proclamation <br />designating National JTPA Alumni Week. <br />2) As Item 11-G-3, Bid Award 91-118 for playground <br />equipment at Treasure Shores Park. <br />3) Scheduling of a workshop between the Board and the <br />Tourist Development Council. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested the addition, as Item I on the <br />Consent Agenda, of approval of Mayor W. E. Conyers as the City of <br />Sebastian's representative on the IRC Transportation Planning <br />Committee. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously added <br />the above items to today's Agenda. <br />BonK 4 F 11A 113 <br />Aug 2 0 1991 � <br />
