Approval of Duplicate Tax Sale Certificates <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the issuance of the following listed Duplicate Tax <br />Sale Certificates: <br />Certificate No. 1426 to Sam High - $ 69.81 <br />Certificate No. 1513 to Sam High - $264.96 <br />C. Proclamation - Celebrate Literacy Week <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />designated September 8 through 14, 1991 as Celebrate <br />Literacy Week. <br />P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />DESIGNATING SEPTEMBER 8-14, 1991 <br />AS <br />CELEBRATE LITERACY WEER <br />WHEREAS, the ability to read is of fundamental <br />importance to all people; and <br />WHEREAS, thio•nation was founded by, and depends upon, <br />a literate and informed citizenry; and <br />WHEREAS, literacy is a gateway to the full <br />participation in the affairs of this nation; and <br />WHEREAS, adult new readers should be recognized for <br />their efforts toward personal and civic growth; and <br />WHEREAS, volunteers in adult literacy programs should <br />be commended for their willingness to help others improve their <br />skills: and <br />WHEREAS, September 81 1991 is designated as <br />international Literacy Day; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the week of <br />September 8-14, 1991 shall be designated as <br />CELEBRATE LITERACY WEER <br />in Indian River County, and all citizens are urged to support and <br />honor those adults for whom the achievement of literacy, for <br />themselves and others, has become a primary goal. <br />Adopted this 27th day of August, 1991 <br />2 <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />�� -z <br />T-� <br />Richard N.
