SEP <br />WEST_ COUNTY_ FIRE_ DISTRICT <br />Administrator Chandler explained that the total expense for <br />the West County Fire District is $247,800. In e°ffect, the funding <br />that is provided from the West County Fire District is to fund the <br />South and North District firefighting operating expenses. The <br />budget being presented is consistent with the projects presented <br />and approved by the voters in the March referendum. Part of that <br />plan was that there would be a phase-in with the increased millage <br />this year as opposed to a total impact in FY 92/93. The proposed <br />West County Fire District budget of $247,800 contains an increase <br />of $174,863. The proposed millage rate of .7791 is 238.150 over <br />rolled -back millage. <br />Chairman Bird opened the public hearing on the West County <br />Fire District and asked if anyone wished to be heard.
